i also watched Sweeney Todd - The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, which opened on my birthday!

it was quite a nice movie minus e throat slitting, blood n e rather abrupt endin. e music was good though, as it was based on e musical. it's abt a barber was exiled for 15yrs n came back to find out that his wife was dead n his daughter was adopted by e judge who exiled him. in his anger n lust for revenge, he went on a rampage n killed his clients for cash while his accomplice used e meat for her pies. lol. gross!

whenever i'm bored, i'll whip out my fone n play worms. haha. e AI can b quite stupid sometimes. i fire punched one worm, my holy hand grenade blew e other 2 worms out of e map, n e last worm likes to shoot bazooka at itself. so while e last worm is killin itself slowly, i got my worms to stand in line n pose for a pic. haha.

my og had a movie nite at greg's house. jiamein suggested the number 23 which we gave up watchin after.. 23mins.. cos it was too slooow. mister isak suggested american pie but greg's dad was at home. so we watched night watch as suggested by greg. almost died. it was slow, confusing n it's in russian. but we had a good time laughin at e poorly done special effects. haha. we also watched the bourne ultimatum b4 we left his place at 2345h. tgif!

got a pc game, crysis, from greg. think my comp will cry. even e fastest comp cant play this game smoothly at max settings. but e graphics r simply amazin. looks so real n life-like.

finally got time to check out "perspective 2008" NUSPS annual bazaar-cum-photo exhibition. quite nice to see alot of vendors n ppl there. hopefully it's a successful event for NUSPS. i got myself a nalgene bottle at 30% off. haha. got quite sick of using e engin club's bottle which leaks. wanted to buy other stuf but ran out of moolah. spent like $100 on txtbooks alr.

sch has started n my days r very hectic. i've been runnin all ard campus e whole week doin modules from other faculties. i'm only doin 2 engin modules this sem. haha. stupid technical elective has to clash wif another core module which didnt clash in e end. cos it has only one lecture. asshole admin dept sent out e notification email AFTER i've bidded for all my modules. think e admin staff r all earth intruders. they dun understand e headache we face whenever CORS is open for module registration.

jus after my shoppin spree last week, i went home n realised that my puma shoes haf been stolen. i need to wear shoes to work e followin day n i cant find dem! actually i noticed that it was missin in e mornin b4 i leave home. but i tot my dad kept it in e shoe cabinet n i was lazy to take it out to wear. fuck that bloody asshole who stole my shoes. if i see someone in e neighbourhood wearin e same shoes, i'll break his legs. not bein racist or anythin, but i suspect it's e foreign worker cleaner.

went for tuition today. it was rainin whales n giant squids! when i got out from e bus, there's no pavement! e whole road/pavement/drain was all under water. i noe that there's a drain somewhere near e stairs, but not sure where exactly. den suddenly one foot plunged into e drain. but luckily i didnt fall in. den i saw an orange thingy floatin away. it was one side of my slippers. damn. tried to chase after it but it drifted away so quickly. went for tuition wif one side only. wonder where it drifted to.

think i'm destined to only haf 2 footwear. jus bought 2 new ones n almost instantly i lost e previous 2. so sad. inconsolable.

it's e rainy season n i bought an umbrella last month from baleno. a $10 product can never b cheap n good. e bloody stem snapped on its 2nd usage! lesson learnt. giordano doesnt sell e small compact ones. went to esprit n saw this teflon coated brolly which has uv protection. woot!




i've always wanted a pair of birkenstocks. when i finally got e moolah to buy one, i found out that e smallest size available is stil too big for me. =( saw nice designs from other brands, stil no size! i got fed up n asked e staff to show me wateva size 7 slippers/sandals they haf. n i got this.




last stop: world of sports. was lookin for a new sch bag which can fit a lappy. but e particular jansport one which i like ran out of stock. looked ard n saw a pair of slippers. it has has rubber soles n it's GREEN! got scared of wearin slippers durin e wet season cos i slipped n fell alot of times in sch. this pair seems to b quite sticky.




total damage: slightly over $200. jus nice within my budget. nthg can beat e blitheness u get from a healthy dose of retail therapy. haha. but i miss dear dear very much n no amt of shoppin can help me shake off e loneliness. miss u lots.

went to my fren's place to jam today. it's been 3yrs since i last met up wif dem n touched my drumsticks. damn fun. played alot of songs incl misery business by paramore which i've been practicin hard for so long. here's e recordin. it's mixed wif e original song. it's amazin wat a rich fren can haf in his house other den a billiard (not pool) room, his own gym n a fish 'river' through his livin room. haha.
