went to ikea after tuition today. it's funny that wen i lived in queenstown, i dun see a reason to go to ikea. now that i live in cck, i'm goin there to buy stuf. haha. here's a few things i'm lookin to buy.

after that, i met up wif dear for dinner. i had seafood fried rice which was quite tasteless n full of grass. e only seafood i can find is prawn. n we had a fun time playin wif it. haha. after that we had "last man standing" for desert. choc ice cream wif choc syrup n almonds. nice.

spent $49 on a new hood for my beloved lens. sold e one which came wif my lens last week at $40. think $9 more for sthg useful is reasonable.

wats e problem wif e original hood? well, e 17-40 was designed for film/ff dslr. 17mm is very wide (104deg angle of view). so e hood needs to b wide n shallow. however when used on a 20d, e focal length is multiplied by 1.6 makin it 27mm (75deg angle of view). so e hood becomes useless. i need sthg deeper.

e new hood is meant for e 17-55 which is a new lens meant for aps-c dslrs. fortunately enuf, e widest angle of view n e filter size r e same as mine. yay.

wanted to try to gaffer up my new hood to protect it from scratches. got some gaffer tape from patrick. not an easy thing to do. spent like 1hour. cos e tape is made from cloth so it's not easy to cut. but den pat said that i need to replace e gaffer every 6months to prevent it from leavin adhesive residue. -_-'" dun think i'm gonna do it again.

10th month anniversary today.. wanted to hang out at somewhere near my place. decided to go to lot1. had dinner at thai express. their dinner buffet was ok-ok only. ate until super full. haha.

after that we went to watch 881. lot1 cinema is like shit. so small n smelly. similar to jec. but i tot lot1 shld b much newer n better compared to jec. i think it's time for shaw to wake up n look at gv. aniwae, movie was very nice xcept that i fell aslp durin e last 10mins or so. damn slpy. qi yuwu was playin wif his cock throughout e movie. lol.

went to comex wif py today. bought a few stuf. all of dem came in pairs. haha. bought a 2gb sandisk cruzer titanium at $38.90 wif a free batt-operated handheld fan which i threw away. =P been wantin to get this thumb cos it's made from liquidmetal n reviews said that it's fast. also bought w610i crystal case as my current one is breakin apart. one for $3, two for $5. n finally a bagman fone pouch at two for $10. lol..
