went to pgp to take pix. dear had some RA thingy. dinner wif RADs. went to do some basic setup/test wif my 50mm lens. wen i tried to unmount e lens, i heard a 'klak' sound. after that, to my shock, e lens mount dropped off. while i was pickin e mount up, e lens inner barrel dropped! my lens literally crumbled into 3pcs. omgwtf! apparently, some plastic catch inside broke off. i can see e focus motor n inner mechanics of e lens. quite cool actually. haha.
well, ppl haf complained abt e built quality of e lens. wat can u xpect from a cheap lens. even e mount is made from plastic. but den 'cheap' is in photography terms. e lens costs sgd135. luckily it's still under warranty. will go down to csc one of these days. wonder if they cound gif me a new piece. hmmm. =P

i didnt reali haf a peaceful slp last nite cos it was rainin heavily. e rain was beatin against my windows n e strong winds were howlin loudly.
dis mornin, i was rudely awaken from my sleep by e sound of chainsaws operated by bangladeshi workers. wtf were they doin so early in e mornin. i glanced at my fone to check e time. jus in time to go for my dental appt.
got out of my house n immediately i got a shock. slightly in front of e common stairs, a huge tree was blockin my path. dear old tree died. it's been there ever since i lived there. so sad. not only that, there's no other way out. i had to crawl under e tree trunk.
if u're wonderin y u cant see e foreign workers in e pix, that's cos i asked dem to get out of e way. they were not doin anythin aniwae. they were jus comparin whose tool is bigger. =P apparently they're waitin for e supervisor to gif dem instructions.

o well.. death is part of life. may all those who depend on e tree for food/shelter/bla bla, find another tree nearby.
nthg much happened at e dentist's. did an xray. quite cool. there's no film. it's a digital scan. oooh! n e xray machine talks: "dun move", "startin xray", "dis machine is technologically advanced bla bla", "xray complete", "thank u". e image of e scan was den displayed on a dell 24 inch lcd *drool* nx door.
e dentist told me that e upper left tooth has erupted. top right one should erupt in abt 6mths time. e bottom ones mite not come out. so if that happens, i need to get e top ones extracted else they'll jus grow n grow n grow until they poke through my lower jaw.
