so, 2 weeks ago, while waitin for sahan to come b4 goin over to amy's party, i decided to walk ard west mall. went into city chain n fell in love with this watch:




it's e smallest matt black steel bracelet square chronograph watch wif date function. =P best of all, it's on a 50% discount.. haha. $207.50 after less. i didnt realise how much i've spent recently until i went to make payment. e cashier told me that i've exceeded e credit limit for my citi clear card. oops! so paiseh. there goes one month of internship pay!

fyi, jay chou is e embassador for ellesse watches. so nx time u see me wearin this watch, call me 亚洲天王. hahaha.

2 weeks ago, i met up wif daniel n we went pcshow at suntec to look for ext hdd. couldnt make up my mind which brand to get. i prefer maxtor/seagate since both comes wif 5yrs warranty n they're essentially e same thing n i've been using seagate drives all my life (quantum = maxtor = seagate). but sadly, e maxtor n seagate drives are fugly.

in e end, i got myself a 500gb wd mybook wif 3yrs warranty only for slightly more at $199.99. daniel got himself a 250gb maxtor onetouch 4 mini.

got home n fired it up. realised that it perfectly matches my desktop's colour scheme of black wif blue light. n it's a very silent drive too. whose book? mybook. woot! =P

ordered an x-rite eye-one display 2 abt 2 weeks ago from e states via amazon.com n it finally arrived today. it's much cheaper compared to e local sets or buyin from those forumers who do MO. costs ard sgd330 only. e trick is to get it delivered by vpost. basically u make ur purchase from e states, den deliver it to vpostusa (delivery within usa is cheap). den from vpostusa, delivered to vpostsg at like sgd10 per kg or sthg. e same trick can b used if u're buyin stuf from japan (of cos, via vpostjapan).

if u're interested in e calibrator performance, compared to colorvision spyder2pro, the i1d2 calibrated img looks less red. it also updates the brightness/contrast/rgb level real-time instead of havin to keep clickin e update button. it also takes a much shorter time to complete e whole calibration process. best of all, it's cheaper too.
